Uri: A training program for Anganwadi workers under the government initiative “Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi” (Education Along with Nutrition) was held at the Degree College Uri. The program emphasized integrating education with nutrition to enhance child development outcomes.

District Programme Officer Baramulla, Yar Ali Khan, and Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Uri, Ghulam Mohiuddin, presided over the session. They provided comprehensive training to Anganwadi workers, focusing on effective strategies for child care, education, and nutrition.
